COTA Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate COTA Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our team at Rutland Center for Living and Rehabilitation in Rutland, Vermont. Responsibilities:
Assist occupational therapists in the development and implementation of individualized treatment plans for patients, focusing on strengthening, walking, and functional mobility exercises
Conduct occupational therapy treatments, including but not limited to: range of motion exercises, muscle strengthening, and functional activities
Use assistive technology, such as wheelchairs, walkers, and assistive devices, to enhance patient mobility and independence
Educate patients, families, and caregivers on proper use of assistive devices and compensatory strategies to maintain independence
Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient treatment and progress
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement comprehensive care plans
Adapt and modify treatment plans as needed to meet the changing needs of patients
