Job Description
Responsibilities:
· Be a critical member of a team of Service Technicians in a 24/7/365 operating environment.
· Provide 24/7 support as part of a rotating on-call schedule.
· Commute safely from job to job by avoiding distractions, adhering to speed limits, and driving responsibly.
· Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of electrical systems, including lighting, power distribution, and machinery.
· Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair electrical issues, implementing effective solutions in a timely manner.
· Read and interpret electrical blueprints, diagrams, and schematics.
· Labels system components.
· Works standard computations relating to electrical load requirements of wiring.
· Use hand tools to complete repairs and installations of electrical equipment.
· Effectively communicate with clients and colleagues regarding equipment and repairs.
· Collaborate with other maintenance team members to prioritize work and maintain operational efficiency.
· Document maintenance activities and report on system performance and deficiencies.
· Suggest new solutions that will improve the overall performance of an organization’s network or electrical infrastructure.
· Other duties assigned as needed.
Preferred Qualifications:
· Completion of a recognized electrical apprenticeship program or equivalent experience
· 5+ years of experience in electrical maintenance or a similar role
· Strong knowledge of electrical systems, circuit design, and safety protocols
· Experience in industrial or manufacturing settings
· Knowledge of PLCs and control systems
· Familiarity with preventative maintenance software
· Proficient in the use of electrical testing and diagnostic tools
· Experience with installation and maintenance of control systems
· Ability to work with low and high voltage systems
· Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
· Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
· Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team
· Commitment to safety and continuous improvement
