Carney, Sandoe & Associates, an education recruitment firm, is currently seeking a French Teacher starting in Fall 2026 at an independent school in Jacksonville, FL.

French Teacher Responsibilities:

• Teach several sections of French courses at various proficiency levels for middle or upper school students.
• Develop engaging lesson plans and curricula tailored to the needs and skill levels of individual students.
• Teach French language skills in listening, speaking, reading, and writing through a variety of instructional methods.
• Organizing fun events where students can showcase their French language skills.
• Serve as an advisor for students ensuring student success.
• Participate in regular professional development activities to stay current with best practices and innovation in language education.

French Teacher Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in French, Education, or related required. Master's degree preferred.
• Proven written and verbal proficiency in French.
• At least 2-3 years of previous K-12 teaching experience.
• No teaching license or credential is required.
• Strong interpersonal as well as written and verbal communication skills.
• Organized, dependable, and eager to contribute to the school community.
• Willingness to assist with extracurricular and school community activities.
