Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years of customer service experience
• Valid driver's license with a clean motor vehicle record (MVR)
• Ability to walk long distances throughout the day
• Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
• Willingness to work overtime as needed
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to use handheld electronic devices

Job Duties:

• Drive a company vehicle along assigned routes
• Locate customer water meters and obtain accurate readings
• Inspect water meters to ensure they are functioning properly
• Record meter readings using a handheld computerized device
• Verify reading accuracy and troubleshoot unusually high or low readings
• Document meter readings, customer account numbers, and meter locations
• Report meter issues or irregularities as needed
• Provide professional customer service while working in the field
• Follow all company safety procedures and work standards
