Private Family in Memphis, TN Seeking a Nanny (Live-In)

Position: Nanny (Live-In) Schedule: Monday-Friday , approximately 40 hours/week. Schedule varies-earlier starts (around 6 AM) Tues-Thurs, more standard 9-5 on Mon/Fri. Salary: $35-$40 per hour (DOE), plus health stipend and PTO!
Start Date: Beginning- Mid July

About the Family
A warm, busy, and welcoming family relocating from NJ to Memphis is seeking an experienced, reliable live-in nanny to care for their two young children (ages 2 and 3). Mom has a demanding and variable schedule, and dad works remotely M/F and travels during the week. The family is looking for someone who can take initiative, provide structure, and help keep things running smoothly.

Children attend Montessori school part-time, and the role offers downtime during school hours. This is intended to be a long-term role, with potential to move back to NJ with the family in the future, if desired.

Children: 2 children (ages 2 and 3)
Pets: 13-year-old Border Collie
Living Arrangements: Private 3rd floor with bedroom and bathroom


Responsibilities

• Full childcare for two toddlers
• School drop-offs and pick-ups
• Planning age-appropriate activities and outings
• Preparing simple meals/snacks for children
• Children's laundry
• Tidying children's areas and toys
• Maintaining routines and providing structure/discipline

Ideal Candidate & Personality
The ideal candidate is experienced with toddlers, organized, and confident managing two young children. The family is looking for someone warm and caring, but also capable of setting boundaries and providing structure and loving discipline.

They value someone reliable and proactive-who can help "run the show" during the week and support a busy household. A candidate who is not easily overwhelmed and genuinely enjoys working with young children will thrive in this role.


Requirements

• Prior experience with toddlers in a private home
• Strong driver (comfortable driving children)

• Flexible and dependable
• Excellent references

Compensation & Benefits

• $30-$40/hour (DOE)
• Payroll
• 2 weeks PTO + paid standard holidays
• Health stipend (TBD)
