Full-time, Live-in/Live-out Nanny, Brookville (North Shore of Long Island), 2 Children Position Number: 2005LB Location: Brookville, North Shore of Long Island Hours: Monday-Friday, 1 pm-9 pm (with optional additional hours) Living Situation: Live-in on workdays or live-out Type of Care: Full-time Nanny Desired Start Date: Anytime (to allow overlap with current nanny) Hourly Rate: $45-$50 per hour Pets: None The Schedule: Monday-Friday, 1 pm-9 pm, live out or live in option on workdays Flexible additional hours available such as: Morning help if living in to get the boys up and off to school, 11 am or 12 pm start if living out and taking on additional child-related task Evening or weekend support Start Date Anytime (ideal to overlap with current nanny) The Children: 3-year-old boy (soon to be 4): Spirited, playful, imaginative, sometimes strong willed. Warms best through fun connection and benefits from gentle boundaries and structure. 5-year-old boy: Sweet, sensitive, cuddly, loves Pokémon, karate, tennis. Thrives with warmth and a bit of extra attention. Thoughtful, affectionate, eager to connect. The brothers have a strong bond, share interests, and show typical sibling rivalry. Both attend the same school through senior year. The Family: Warm, social family who keeps an active, joyful home. Mom is home and collaborative but appreciates a nanny who confidently leads daily schedules. Dad works outside the home. The home is spacious, energetic, loving, and being newly set up after a move. The family has had a long-term nanny for four years and hopes to build another long-term relationship. Year-round travel is enjoyed, both domestic and international. The nanny is welcome and encouraged to join their trips. The Role: A blend of childcare, planning, and active engagement. Responsible for afternoon and evening routines, playtime, sports logistics, supervising swimming, and managing the daily flow.Light cooking required for the children, who are picky and working on expanding their palates. Family is open to food waste during this learning process. Driving is required (car provided). Strong swimming skills essential due to pools at both homes. Tasks include after school pickups, homework help, outings, creating play, and leading day-to-day structure. Child-related responsibilities: Meals, laundry, calendars, keeping school and sports supplies stocked, and maintaining organization. Works as a partner with Mom but independently leads during the weekdays. The Travel: Family travels about four times per year and welcomes nanny participation. Likely to spend August in the Hamptons home with private accommodations. Evening coverage is especially needed in summer. Boys attend daytime camps with door-to-door pickup and drop-off. All travel expenses covered plus overnight stipends and private accommodations. Mom can accommodate adjusted schedules during travel to maintain balance. You: Energetic, warm, proactive, and enthusiastic. Comfortable in lively households with teamwork and clear communication. Playful yet firm, able to balance fun with structure and gentle boundaries. Strong executive functioning skills: planning, calendars, logistics, organization, and anticipating needs. Confident swimmer and driver. Adaptable to changing schedules, travel, and working independently or with a stay-at-home parent. Values long-term, respectful family relationships with emotional intelligence and professionalism.
