**Position Title:**Parking Enforcement Officer (PT)**Job Posting Closing Date:**\*\*\*OPEN UNTIL FILLED\*\*\* [Applications will be considered in the order they are submitted.] Provo City is looking for a part-time Parking Enforcement Officer to join our Development Services Team. (Payment will be made by direct deposit.)Part-time Provo City employees are eligible to contribute to individual retirement savings plans through the City (401k, 457, Roth IRA, and/or Traditional IRA) and receive the following great benefits: a) free admission to the Provo Recreation Center, Peaks Ice Arena Public Skating, and Provo Shooting Sports Park; b) a free Provo City Library Card; c) a 25% discount on Provo Recreation Center memberships (direct family only); and d) discounts from various local and national vendors.* Patrol, on foot and/or by vehicle, designated areas for parking violations.* Safely operate department vehicles.* Cite violators.* Assist other team members as needed and perform other related duties as required.*Provo City will honor equivalent epxerience.** High School Diploma or equivalent (GED).* One year of experience in a customer service-related filed involving regular in-person interaction with members of the public.* A valid, lawful Driver License and acceptable driving record at the time of and through employment.* Experience in parking enforcement, specifically for a medium-to-large entity, city, or university is preferred.This position works 20 to 25 hours per week, Monday through Saturday. Schedule is flexible between the hours of 10:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m. and will be determined with supervisor.This position is open until filled and will be closed when sufficient, qualified applications to proceed with a competitive selection process have been received (at least seven days).
