Job Description

A part-time physical therapy position is available for the 2026-2027 school year in Pittsburg, CA, providing essential support within a school setting. This contract role requires a dedicated professional to work approximately 3-4 days per week, delivering quality care to students with physical therapy needs.


Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct physical therapy services to students, implementing individualized treatment plans.
• Collaborate with educators, parents, and school staff to support student progress and inclusive participation.
• Document therapy sessions, maintain accurate records, and contribute to Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
• Assess student needs and adjust interventions accordingly to promote physical development and function.
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and professional development activities as required.

Desired Qualifications and Experience:

• Licensed Physical Therapist with current credentials applicable to school-based therapy.
• Experience working with pediatric populations, preferably in educational settings.
