Job Description

Step into a supportive and enriching environment as a school-based physical therapist with a contract assignment set to begin at the start of the 2026-2027 school year. Work part-time onsite, dedicating your expertise to a vibrant educational setting near Schaumburg, IL. Orientation is thoughtfully structured across August 3 and 4, ahead of the students' first day on August 7, providing a seamless transition as you settle into your new role. The assignment concludes on May 20, 2027.


What You'll Bring:

• Current credentials as a Physical Therapist with experience in school-based or pediatric settings
• Genuine enthusiasm for supporting students with diverse needs
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
• Willingness to work two days per week, committing to 15 hours each week
• Ability to integrate feedback and adapt to new environments

Your Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging and effective PT services to students as outlined in their educational plans
• Conduct assessments, document progress, and communicate outcomes with educational teams and families
• Collaborate with teachers, specialists, and supervisors during regular meetings and roundtable discussions
• Participate in annual performance reviews and ongoing process improvement initiatives
• Regularly connect with colleagues across the region via a dynamic intranet platform
