Job Summary:
The position is for a registered nurse specializing in the nurse educator specialty, located in Salinas, California. Candidates are required to bring their nursing license on the first day of assignment. This role involves supporting joint replacement patient care programs, program development, and team education, with an emphasis on orthopedic patient care. The scheduled shift time is Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with a minimum of 40 hours per week.

Job Details:

• Location: Salinas, California
• Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., at least 40 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing, current Registered Nurse licensure in the State of California, BLS/Healthcare Provider certification per American Heart Association standards, Orthopedic Nurse Certification from Orthopaedic Nurses Certification Board or other relevant specialty certification, a minimum of four (4) years of clinical nursing experience, program development and implementation experience, Epic Electronic Medical Record (EMR) experience within the past year, thorough knowledge of TJC Disease-Specific and other regulatory requirements, excellent communication skills (written and oral), proficiency in Word and Excel, and strong interpersonal and collaboration skills.
• Preferred Qualifications: Recent experience in orthopedics.
• Additional Information: The candidate will assist in developing, managing, and evaluating the joint replacement program, facilitate patient education sessions, and coordinate care in compliance with certification standards. Orthopedic Nurse Certification must be included in the submission packet.
