Position Overview

The Exterior General Contractor will oversee and manage residential exterior projects from start to finish. This role requires hands-on construction knowledge, strong leadership skills, and the ability to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to Fineline Improvements’ standards.

Responsibilities

• Oversee exterior remodeling projects including roofing, siding, windows, doors, decks, and exterior renovations
• Manage job sites, crews, and subcontractors to ensure quality workmanship
• Ensure projects stay on schedule and meet company standards
• Communicate professionally with homeowners, subcontractors, and internal team members
• Coordinate material deliveries, inspections, and job site logistics
• Perform quality control inspections throughout each project
• Enforce safety standards and maintain clean, organized job sites
• Troubleshoot and resolve on-site issues efficiently
• Complete job documentation, progress updates, and reports as required

Requirements

• Proven experience in residential exterior construction
• Strong leadership and crew management skills
• Solid understanding of roofing, siding, and exterior systems
• Ability to read plans, measurements, and scopes of work
• Knowledge of local building codes and safety regulations
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Professional appearance and attitude when working with homeowners

Preferred Qualifications

• OSHA certification
• Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
• Background in remodeling or construction supervision
