Job Description

A full-time Physical Therapist position is available for the 25/26 school year in Saint Charles, MO. This contract role requires providing specialized physical therapy services within a school setting, assisting students with varying physical needs to enhance their educational experience.


Key Responsibilities:

• Develop individualized physical therapy goals for students.
• Participate actively in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings.
• Provide direct Physical Therapy services tailored to student needs.
• Conduct evaluations and report quarterly progress on established goals.
• Create and manage daily schedules to optimize service delivery.
• Offer consultations to staff as required to support student progress.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Licensed Physical Therapist with school-based therapy experience preferred.
• Strong understanding of physical therapy practices in educational environments.
• Ability to manage a caseload ranging from 30-60 students weekly, adjusted according to student needs.
• Excellent communication skills for collaboration with educators and families.
• Organizational skills to handle scheduling and documentation effectively.

Position Details:

• Location: Saint Charles, Missouri.
• Employment Type: Full-time contract.
• Work Hours: 7 hours per day, 36 hours per week.
• Contract Duration: As soon as possible through May 22, 2026.
