Job Description

Step into a rewarding contract opportunity working onsite as a school-based physical therapist in a supportive, collaborative environment. This part-time position offers 15 hours per week across two days, beginning with orientation on August 3 and 4, 2026. The school year starts August 7, running through May 20, 2027.


You'll have easy access to an experienced same-discipline supervisor committed to helping you develop professionally and overcome challenges as they arise. As a new hire, you'll be welcomed into a unique "Buddy Program," ensuring a thorough, encouraging orientation experience. All equipment and testing materials you need will be ready and waiting for you, so you can focus on what matters most-helping students achieve their full potential.


Desired Qualifications & Experience:

• Valid Physical Therapist licensure for the state
• Prior experience in pediatric or school-based settings preferred
• Strong ability to collaborate and communicate with multidisciplinary teams
• Organizational skills for managing caseloads, documentation, and progress reports
• Passion for making a positive impact in students' lives

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess and provide physical therapy interventions for students with diverse needs
• Develop individualized treatment plans in alignment with IEP goals
• Participate in IEP meetings, roundtables, and collaboration sessions
• Maintain accurate records of student progress and compliance with all school and professional standards
• Engage in annual performance reviews and ongoing process improvement discussions
