About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President for its Corporate and Investment Bank Credit Risk Management team. The successful candidate will be at the forefront of the firm's risk management and compliance, playing a pivotal role in ensuring the business grows in a responsible and resilient manner. This position demands a professional with a minimum of 6 years' of credit/market risk experience, a strong credit background, and analytical skills, particularly in accounting and corporate finance. The role involves leading client credit relationships, performing client due diligence, and financial analysis, as well as providing credit expertise in structuring various financial transactions. The candidate should be adept at setting and communicating credit exposure appetite, overseeing legal negotiations, and assessing the creditworthiness of clients. Applicants for the Vice President role should have a solid understanding of financial products and market dynamics, with a strong interest in client interaction. The position requires the ability to work well under pressure, lead group-wide efficiency projects, and maintain updated credit research on a portfolio of clients. Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word is essential, and knowledge of asset management, financial technology, and FIG industries is preferred. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker, capable of challenging the status quo, and will be expected to lead credit due diligence for various financial transactions, including M&A, LBOs, and portfolio refinancings.
